The first time I've ever made curtains---and they turned out pretty nice--these are in my kitchen, now just to get the courage to make ones for the other window in my kitchen--that window is much wider and longer

Our Inexpensive/Home-spun Christmas Decorations 2011
These little candle holders were free from freecycle
The round decoration is old Christmas paper
Cut 2 circles, glue them together--with pretty pattern on outside (both sides)
punch hole in top and place thread through hole and hang
Home made crocheted snowflakes
We couldn't find out Christmas stockings so I made new ones from a old pair of pants and an old shirt
This ones was Dan's---pocket, buttons and a patch
To hang them I sewed one of the button holes into the top and the stockings hung by the hole--worked out really well
This one was mine---of course a bit more girly---ruffles on top and in the middle and a little button---no it's not perfect and it wasn't meant to be--I wanted it to look homemade--like an old fashion Christmas
